Laura Corners Cynthia

“Great try Cyn, you’re strong girl, but it takes more than strength sometimes.  Sometimes it power and determination.  It’s a will.”  Laura said as she pushed her body into Cynthia pinning her to the corner.  She leaned in with both forearms, as if to drive home her point.  Cynthia was a bit stunned at this sudden turn of events.  She never would have guessed it could happen to her despite hearing rumblings from the other ladies in the gym.  Still pinned in the corner was no place to be, she was on defensive high alert, waiting for Laura to make a move, but they just stared at one another, seeing who might back down first.  Cynthia brought her arms up, ready to shove Laura back at the first opportunity.  She did not want to be caught in the corner for long.  She needed to get this back to the middle and reassess her plan.
